The DC Universe is always expanding with new stories and new characters, but this time they are absorbing 2 whole universes of heroes and making them part of current DCU continuity. The universes in question are Milestone and the “Archie heroes” (no not Jughead in tights… there were Superhero comics published by MLJ Comics long before Archie and the gang hit the scene).

These characters will be folded into the current DCU, interacting with all your favorites and even potentially joining the rosters of the Teen Titans and JLA.

I was pleasantly surprised when i walked into Whatever yesterday and saw the New Teen Titans Judas Contract figures hanging there. Or at least I saw a few Terminators and 1 Robin. Everything else was spoken for or sold already. luckily I reserved my Terra and Jericho weeks ago.

Below is an image I photoshopped from 2 awesome pics posted by someone named elmeaux on DC Direct’s discussion forum.

His lineups are more accurate, but I wanted Terra and Jericho in the same photo. I’ll post some pics of my own DCD Titans and JLU soon. My Marvel Legends X-Men, Avengers and Fantastic Four as well!

OOPS, Dan Didio slipped up when introducing Sean McKeever at NYCC, so now we know…

Newsarama interview with Sean McKeever, writer of Terror Titans a 6 issue miniseries spinning out of the current arc in Teen Titans as well as the Final Crisis… and they gain a new member (someone “everyone knows”).

I’ve been waiting for these figure since DC Direct haphazardly released its first batch of New Teen Titans figures back in 2000 (Starfire and Kid Flash, followed by Raven and Cyborg in 2001). Terra has long been my favorite Titan. But i couldn’t tell you if that was because or despite her being an amoral bucktoothed sociopath.
