Superhot fanboys

Sunday, June 15th, 2008

these pictures are of various spandex-clad guys I’ve come across over the past year or so. The majority of them were from the plethora of sexy but safe for work skin shots of longtime fanboi favorite SuperUnderwearPerverts.

I am in NO WAY suggesting that the anyone within the photos is gay. These are just cute boys wearing superhero costumes (or sporting superhero symbols) and looking good. Some may be models, Gay spandex fetishists and some may just be straight comic book geeks dressing up so they can bang that pink-haired anime chick they saw at the last convention. No implications about anyone’s sexuality are implied.

a more comedic post of the guys who look more supersilly than superhot may follow later in the week if anyone would be amused… speak up if you want to see that.

  • Networks courting gay Hero?

    Friday, May 23rd, 2008

Perry Moore, author of Hero has been in talks to bring his gay superhero coming of age origin to the small screen. Moore claims to be 2 for 2 after pitching two networks and receiving two offers from which to choose. “We’ll announce any day, hopefully, who we’re going to do it with.”

    Hero by Perry Moore

Hero, is the story of high school basketball star Thom Creed, who happens to be the only child of a now infamous disgraced crime fighter. Not only does Thom have to deal with a missing mother and strange new powers he doesn’t understand, he also has to come to terms his attraction to the strange and mysterious Dark Hero. Will Thom save the world and find a boyfriend in the process? You bet!

Its kind of like Harry Potter if Harry was a gay superhero instead of a straight wizard. It’s a young adults book and although as a lifelong comic reader I found some parts a mite predictable, I still thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the read (well the basketball game opening scene didn’t do much for me, but it picked right up after that).

Kudos to Moore on the interest his project has garnered… He has Stan Lee in his corner, as Producer working to get Hero off the page and into our living rooms.

  • Hancock… the other superhero movie

    Friday, May 2nd, 2008

With Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Batman and Hellboy movies all coming this summer, nobody is really talking about Hancock, the movie about an “edgy, conflicted, sarcastic, and misunderstood” antihero (Will Smith) who saves a publicist (Jason Bateman) and finally comes to terms with the lesson Spidey learned on day one, great power, great responsibility yadda yadda yadda… I can’t remember the last Will Smith movie I looked forward to but I’m interested in this.

Alan Ritchson seen here as a superhero for a TV ad in Russia, was apparently also the model for the 3D animated Beowolf. Which explains why that movie gave me naughty feelings.

Kudos to Hot Gay News! Quite a find!
