What is Abraham Obama?

Popapathy happened upon this in San Francisco on Alice B. Toklas Place and snapped it for But is it Art Darling? (his own blog). I did some googling and found out Abraham Obama is the work of an artist named Ron English. Here is his original image and an explanation of it.
