The Daily Show tells John McCain… “It Gets Worse”

As always we can rely on Jon Stewart to cry BULLSHIT! when politicians contradict themselves on an issue. This time we have a series of clips about John McCain’s constantly shifting opinion of what it would take for him to get behind repealing the military’s “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy.” |
Which apparently inspired Jon Stewart’s minions (and Sean Hayes a.k.a. Jack McFarland) to band together and create a very personal PSA aimed point blank at John McCain. It points out how he’s becoming “That Guy.” You know… the asshole who insists on living in the past and obsessively ranting against some form of social progress who ends up remembered as the villain of the piece once history has its way. So Mr. McCain’s got a hard road ahead of him and it’s just gonna get worse

As to Cindy McCain participating in the NoH8 campaign, and then two days later using twitter to distance herself from her statement “Our political and religious leaders tell LGBT youth that they have no future, that they can’t serve our country openly” by tweeting although she “supports the NOH8 campaign she stands by her husbands stance on DADT.”
A political wife who doesn’t stand up to her husband and stick by her own convictions. Not a surprise. She made Anderson Cooper’s ridicuLIST too…
