GayComicGeek’s Hancock review

Monday, July 7th, 2008

Here is a review posted by GayComicGeek about Hancock. He seemed to like it OK as a popcorn movie and didn’t mention Hancock’s “homo, homo in red, Norwegian homo” comment while looking at costume designs that GLAAD is up in arms about.

A gay friend of mine saw the movie and thought that the moment was funny… i’m waiting until I see how gay the costumes look before I decide if its funny or offensive.

With Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Batman and Hellboy movies all coming this summer, nobody is really talking about Hancock, the movie about an “edgy, conflicted, sarcastic, and misunderstood” antihero (Will Smith) who saves a publicist (Jason Bateman) and finally comes to terms with the lesson Spidey learned on day one, great power, great responsibility yadda yadda yadda… I can’t remember the last Will Smith movie I looked forward to but I’m interested in this.
