Superheroes Fashion and Fantasy
Wednesday, May 7th, 2008The Metropolitan Museum of Art has been invaded by superheroes, and no it’s not a setting for a comic book story, it’s the Met’s latest exhibit. Costume Institute curator Andrew Bolton says “Superheroes are about issues of the body, identity and transformation, about acting your fantasies and transforming yourself into anyone or anything you want to be. Those are all the things at the heart of fashion.”
