The Last Defenders #6 of 6

OK at long (5 issues) last, we have the ACTUAL line-up of “The Last Defenders.” I’ve read the first 5 issues so I’ll have to pick this up, but it’s just taking too long for anything important to happen. I was a fan of the “old” Defenders, so I find the concept being put forth (that although the original gang were the right assemblage of archetypes, they weren’t really the right heroes) to be a bit insulting to the roots this series SHOULD be expanding and enriching.

    The Last Defenders #5 of 6

    I hope the Last Defenders aren’t REALLY the last - that is unless this 6 issue mini is followed by an actual series that lasts long enough to get interesting. This mini has been all over the map as the team forms then collapses then reforms then collapses then reforms. Wait a sec - it IS just like the old Defenders!
