The Muppets resident guinea pig… singing sensation Beaker is back with his own take on the classic ballad, Dust in the Wind. Complete with a running commentary from the usual suspects.
If you are amused by people pointing out the ridiculousness of religion, then enjoy these choice videos from the BestOfAtheism YouTube channel.
God is SMART! But people… not so much. God speaks to Abraham about his latest great idea… Human Sacrifice!
Cthulhu vs. Christianity – a catchy little ditty paying homage to Lovecraft’s mythos
Praise the Lord! – cynical parody from fictional Christian Rock Group Hill$ong
The Bible is TRUE! And remember Thou shalt not suffer a homosexual adulterous fortune-telling dwarf to live. I think that must have been on that 3rd tablet Moses dropped.
If you enjoy these, then also check out EdwardCurrent’s YouTube channel for what seems to be a Stephen Colbertesque video caricature of a “Christian” managing to mock himself both intentionally and inadvertently while supposedly mocking Atheists. I couldn’t find any INTENTIONALLY funny videos from the other camp. But feel free to share links via comments if you know any.
As usual – his review is right on the money. GayComicGeek consistently has great reviews of comics, books, shows and movies that interest me. So OF COURSE he’s put up his opinion on Smallville: Absolute Justice…
Saw this at WickedGayBlog over the holidays and managed to stifle the urge to share it at the time, but now I have happened upon it again… so you have to suffer or do something else while you watch.
I’m guessing he’ll have a few fans who’d lke to give it to him “that way.” Of course my first instinct to dig deeper is a both blessing and a curse. The good news there is two of them. The bad news is I’m not sure if they are TRYING to be funny. But, do we care? I think all hot boys should be encouraged to as goofy as they wanna be on YouTube.
I can think of some different outfits I might have put them for “I Look Good In Leather.” Never heard this song before. Caught me after a night out. But I’m amused.
Swanderful is gay comics creator Dale Lazarov’s (Sticky, Manly and Nightlife) new blog dedicated to his favorite comic book artist… Curt Swan. Now I’m not sure I see Mr’s Swan’s work in the same way as Lazarov seems to, but I must agree that Curt Swan was the quintessential silver age Superman artist.
Check out Swanderful to see some of Lazarov’s favorite Swan works along with the writers own keen observations and amusing comments.
Below are two images he posted that cracked me up. I remember these from my early days as a comic reader… They were first published in Superman #272.

A new cover mashup music video (the music “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis with the lyrics from “Finally” by Ce Ce Peniston) about marriage equality directed by Adam Joseph and Josh Kesner. Starring Lars Stephan, Stuart Perkins and Erickatoure Aviance. The handsome grooms are very sweet together and their drag bridesmaid was a nice touch. Music is a wonderful way to share the message.
I do so love the YouTube generation. Its videos like these and the ones that follow that will end up going a long way towards making gay marriage a reality everywhere. Current and future generations are growing up with the message that its OK to be Gay. We just want to love. I have hope. Now we just have to wait and see how Perry vs. Schwarzenegger turns out.
This is GREAT! Nice to see the Muppets doing what they ought to be doing in today’s market… funny viral music videos. Enjoy their Bohemian Rhapsody! Now if they could just manage to make a new Muppet Movie.
Whatever happened to the one in the works with Jason Segal?
Check out this great guerrilla musical number organized by DJ Dan Murphy and starring one of Australia’s most famous drag queens – Joyce Maynge… The video was so cool it had Kylie Minogue all atwitter.
I’ve wanted a spontaneous yet choreographed musical number to erupt around me my whole life. I’m just never in the right place at the right time. Oh well, at least I get to watch the video.
Now I try not to post every cute cat video that pops up online, but this is fun. I’m always happy to see that there ARE people who have more time on their hands than I do.
Its was his birthday but we get the present… This funny vid from everyone’s favorite GayComicGeek shows us how to party like a gay geek and even includes a couple flashes of him in his underoos. ENJOY! And don’t forget to send him a card!

This inspiring pair IS the cutest gay geek couple to be found online. So make sure that they get the votes they need to win Interactive Male’s kissing contest. Tell 2 friends, and have them tell 2 friends and so on, and so on…
As usual a concise and well thought out review from the GayComicGeek. I keep waiting to disagree with him. I may have to peruse his complete archive and find something to argue about to prove I’m not a shill.
I read this last year and REALLY enjoyed the book. There really aren’t many books out there in the superhero/young adult genre and as far as I know this is the only one about a gay character. Hero is supposed to be “in development” to become a TV show with the backing of Stan Lee himself. I pretty much agree with most of his points. It was a great read but occasionally is a bit predictable if you really know your superhero cliches.
When I look at this first EXCLUSIVE image from Michael Kirwan of KirwanArts.com titled Too Late the Knight, I can’t help but wonder if this is what really happened to Jason Todd before Joker killed him? I have to say I prefer his Batman/Robin pairing – it’s much less disturbing… but what heroes and villains would YOU like to see him bring his special touch to? If this first image is actually about Jason Todd, it could be the first in a series of memorable comic book battles that ended in tragic deaths (that were later undone)…
Awhile back Michael Kirwan sent us exclusive scans of some recent commissions he completed commemorating the release of a number of DC heroes on United States stamps. The first two were Green Lantern and Plastic Man and now he has sent us Hawkman and Aquaman to fill out the set.
And that’s not all. He also sent these dirty shots of the Galactor Troops and the following explanatory text for those of us who aren’t as enlightened as the fella who commissioned these…
Recently an enlightened art collector commissioned a few scenes illustrating the Henchmen from Gatchaman (G-Force Guardians of Space). These Galactor Troops were always getting graphically punished and humiliated by the heroes of G-Force. From shots to the crotch, uniforms ripped from stem to privates, and all manner of abuses were heaped upon these loyal Henchmen as they foot-soldiered their way into battle and the eventual comic defeat of the villainous group Galactor.
- Michael Kirwan
Some great stuff! He does commissions, I don’t know what he charges, but I may have to find out…
The Joans, the only band in the world dedicated to giving Hollywood icon Joan Crawford a rock and roll voice are pleased to announce the release of their debut CD, simply titled We are The Joans. A celebration of tough broads everywhere, the CD combines the band’s power pop and punk sensibilities with their tongues firmly implanted in their cheeks.
The initial concept of the band was ‘What if Joan Crawford had her own rock and roll band?’” says Davy Joans, the founder of The Joans. “We decided the band would be like her- tough, glamorous and larger then life. All of the songs have that connection, and we do our best to look and act the part on stage. Their debut video Mad at the Dirt (written by Aaron Joans and directed by Peter Neville of Image Control Unit) mirrors vintage Hollywood movie trailers and pays homage to one of the most infamous lines from the cult film, Mommie Dearest, adapted from Christina Crawford’s highly suspect, tell all biography of the same name.
Formed in 2007 The Joans include lead guitarist and music arranger Taylor Joans, Aaron Joans on drums, Jennifer Joans on vocals, Steve Joans on bass guitar and Ed Joans, keyboard player and trusted maid for the band.

Site favorite blogger, the Gay Comic Geek has joined the ranks of shirtless gay vloggers!!!! Here he is giving us a tattooed gun show as he lists some of his favorite things…
Besides giving us a good look at his hot bod (nice abs Gay Comic Geek!!!), the video also includes a peek at his comic books, action figures, posters and collected artwork.
This video of Barbara Northstar singing Like a Virgin arrived in my inbox from Michael Boyce (so blame him) and I felt the need to share it if only because misery loves company. Lets hope Northstar has a day job… The costume looks great.
One more Northstar video after the jump – this time dancing in a comic book store. I think he was hoping for some tips but no such luck. Read the rest of this entry »
