From the headline and photo, you might think this is way off topic from my usual super gay fare, but anything LGBT is fair game and that T has to stand for something!
I simply cannot believe I’ve lived in San Francisco for over ten years and I’d NEVER been to AISA SF before tonight. I guess living is a city as great as this one, I somehow tend to take some of its more iconic elements for granted sometime. I think I’ll be trying to take more advantage of the myriad of entertainment opportunities San Francisco provides (and telling you about it afterwards). Let me say a night at AISA SF is quite a pleasing production.
After some of Executive Chef Matthew Metcalf’s savory signature cocktails and amazing Cal-Asian appetizers and courses, you can expect the restaurant to erupt into spontaneous applause, hoots and hollers as the spectacular gender illusionist goddesses of AISA SF take the stage in hourly runway performances choreographed by Ronnie Reddick.

Each and every one of the lovely ladies from staff to stage was full-on fabulous, and the crowd all had its favorites, but I MUST give mention to the evenings emcee, Ginger who managed the doubly difficult task of being both fabulous AND funny!
All this entertainment is ensconced within a 4,000 square foot 2 level space that includes the restaurant/bar as well as a fully decked out nightclub (just follow the red fiber optics).

So whether you are a longtime resident, recent transplant or enthusiastic visitor to San Francisco, be sure to stop by and experience AISA SF - 201 9th Street (415) 255-2742. Visit them online at asiasf.com
