New York City based out rapper Cazwell, has unleashed his latest single, Ice Cream Truck. The cheeky video features a bevy of beautiful boys shakin’ it in their briefs as Cazwell drones raps on about watermelon icees or some shit.
Cazwell isn’t a paragon of healthy eating. Last year he ogled America’s favorite R&B diva scarfing down onion rings, chicken strips, and apple pie on his underground hit “I Seen Beyoncé at Burger King,” he wrote the Amanda LePore ditties “Champagne” and “Cotton Candy,” and now he’s cruising after the “Ice Cream Truck.”
“Ice Cream Truck” written and produced by Cazwell and Chris Bracco. Directed by Marco Ovando
Random gay and straight boys doing parody lip sync videos are some of my favorite finds on YouTube, so here are a few viral videos in that vein from YouTuber Ryan James Yezak.
First off…
California Gays Music Video To Katy Perry California Gurls – Ryan James Yezak presents a gay music video interpretation of Katy Perry “California Gurls” featuring Snoop Dogg. So hot we’ll melt your popsicle!
Next up… “Ke$ha Take It Off”
And finally a vaguely disturbing parody of Lady Gag’s “Telephone”

Here’s the latest from the Lady known as Gaga. She sure knows how to put together a theatrical spectacle, and knows her audience… As usual she hits it out of the park. Now what it is and which park we are talking about I really couldn’t tell you.
I’d love to see some comments explaining the significance of the “Moe” cut on the dancing boys in the unflattering underwear and high heels… are they trying to be sexy stooges or sexy monks?
Gaga recently shared that the video is about the “purity of my friendships with my gay friends, and how I’ve been unable to find that with a straight man in my life. It’s a celebration and an admiration of gay love—it confesses my envy of the courage and bravery they require to be together. In the video I’m pining for the love of my gay friends—but they just don’t want me to be with them.”
It MAY be her ode to gay love, but I’m also getting a definite Eva Peron / Evita vibe here. I only saw the movie once… can anyone confirm? Nice to know she loves her gay boys. We love her right back. Lady Gaga is simply brilliant. I’ve gotten hooked on her music after downloading The Fame Monster to wake the sleeping Popapathy in the morning.
I applaud GayComicGeek’s choice to film “something stupid” every now and then. If he ever needs a better excuse than just because how about because we sure appreciate it! Here he is lip-syncing the theme song to his She-Ra Princess of Power…
Another stand out video for Sue Sylvester. She’s hitting them out of the park. I really loved last night’s episode, BAD REPUTATION, which successfully reclaimed some of the cheesiest of tunes. Still not enough Kurt or Jesse! We only have Groff for a few more episodes, he should have sung out his anger!
Below is the full BAD REPUTATION episode from Hulu. ENJOY!
I would explain the clip below, but it’s more fun if you watch the FULL ep to see how this came about, but I wanted to put this clip up separately as well because I love it. Other episode highlights include Rachel’s “musical promiscuity” and Kurt in “Hammer pants.”
RE: last week’s HOME – Most of the songs were beautiful, but otherwise didn’t grab me. I liked the episode, but that was more due to the story elements about the budding romance between Kurt’s Mom and Finn’s Dad. It was sweet to see poor fatherless Finn getting a moment watching the game with a paternal male figure, but genuinely hearth-breaking to see how much it hurt Kurt to see it. I hope we get to see Kurt bond a bit with Finn’s Mom. Kurt need a boyfriend NOW. Mercedes’ Beautiful was powerful and inspiring, and I’ll be interested in seeing if Sue can or cares to be the positive empowering figure that the reporter thought her to be.
By me! Living in SF does have it’s benefits. I guess I didn’t REALLY learn my lesson with the pornstars. Do NOT stand next to a young handsome rising star if you intend to look your very best in a photo (Do stand next to Bruce Vilanche). Damn, if I’d have known I was to be stalking a star of stage and screen I’d have shaved and picked a cuter outfit.
I was heading to the bus in the Castro after picking up some books over at Whatever for Free Comic Book Day, and I’m passing the throng of people in line for the 53rd San Francisco International Film Festival at the Castro Theatre when I see Jonathan Groff walk past me and start to the end of the line. So of course I follow discreetly, sure I’m wrong. The line was long. I had to walk all the way around 2 corners before the line came to an end.
A group was walking up the hill and fell in line behind Groff just as I asked, “you are Jonathan Groff, right?” He instantly started beaming that completely charming smile of his and said yes. I asked if I could get a photo, and he asked if I wanted one with him too. By this time the group behind us was all interested in who he was and asked “are you famous.” I told them he was the “new GLEE boy” and they all instantly recognized him. I said we missed seeing much of him in this weeks episode but expect to enjoy more of him in the weeks to come. I got someone to take a picture of us and after mentioning I’d been looking into his Broadway history and was very impressed with his work, left him to the feeding frenzy I inadvertently created. I hope his time in line wasn’t too unpleasant and he enjoyed the show. He was very genuine and sweet about the interruption.
I know Jesse St. James is probably up to no good. That look he exchanged with his Vocal Adrenaline coach (played by Broadway talent Idina Menzel) definitely had seriously sinister connotations and bodes heartbreak for the character of Groff’s real life BFF Lea Michelle. Too bad he still a “guest star,” Jonathan Groff has a golden voice and I hope we get as many songs out him as we can while he’s on the show. I can only imagine how amazing he must sound on stage.
GLEE’s latest heartthrob is the dreamy "former" Vocal Adrenaline star Jesse St James is played by talented and openly gay stage and screen actor Jonathan Groff. He was born March 26, 1985 in the Amish country of rural Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Although his family was generally more interested in sports than musicals, young Groff showed interest in the performing arts at an early age, often appearing onstage at the Fulton Opera House, a local community theatre and, of course all of his high school plays. Growing up a few hours from NYC also afforded him the chance to see many of the city’s theatrical productions.
In part to prepare for the university application process, Jonathan took a bus to nearby New York City to audition and promptly landed the role of Rolf in a revival of The Sound of Music. His budding theatrical success soon superseded Groff’s college plans.
Other Broadway credits include the 2005 musical, In My Life. Off-Broadway, he has appeared in The Public Theater in Craig Lucas’s The Singing Forest, and Prayer for My Enemy at Playwrights Horizons, and as Claude in Hair at the Delacorte in Central Park.
Groff is best known for singing both on and off Broadway opposite BFF Lea Michele (who not-so-coincidentally also plays GLEE’s Rachel Berry) in Spring Awakening, an extremely depressing and somewhat tragic musical about teen sexuality based on a 1891 German play of the same name (no wonder it’s depressing). Along with Groff, Lea Michele was part of Spring Awakening cast from the original off-Broadway stage in the summer of 2006 to the Tony Award winning Broadway production. In May 2007, Jonathan Groff was nominated for Tony Award as Best Leading Actor in a Musical for the role of Melchior, whom he portrayed from the musical’s Broadway debut on December 10, 2006 through May 18, 2008.
At The Ephrata Playhouse Groff portrayed such characters as Edgar in Bat Boy: The Musical and Ugly in Honk! After the success of Spring Awakening, Jonathan made a visit to The Ephrata Playhouse to reunite with some of his old cast members during a special event entitled An Evening With Jonathan Groff. Jonathan also played Woodstock organizer Michael Lang in acclaimed director Ang Lee’s delightful movie, Taking Woodstock.
While doing Spring Awakening on Broadway, Jonathan shot a television pilot called Pretty/Handsome for FX with Ryan Murphy. Though that project went nowhere, a year and a half later Murphy went on to create a little musical series about Show Choir GLEE with a cast that included Lea Michele (who Groff introduced) and the 2nd act role of Jesse St. James written just for Groff.
Although they are reportedly “on break,” Groff and his Hair replacement Gavin Creel have been called a "power couple" on broadway. Groff isn’t in for the long haul on GLEE. His stint has been called a “guest spot” that will last at least 5 episodes, and Jonathan’s scheduled to make his London stage debut in a revival of Deathtrap. Maybe the break will be over as Gavin Creel is currently in London as well to reprise his (and Groff’s) role of Claude in Hair.
Now we get the story behind last week’s Sue Sylvester Vogue video, among other things. The students and faculty alike embraced the power of Madonna in what Popapathy referred to as “the best episode yet.” It seems Madonna is Sue Sylvester’s touchstone. I’m not exactly sure, but it seemed that that video was actually produced in show continuity by Kurt and Mercedes.
I still would have liked to see more Kurt and Puck, but I’m thinking they’ll get to shine in due time. This definitely stepped up the game from last week’s Hello.
You gotta love OK Go. The captivating and original music videos found regularly on the official OK Go Youtube channel are always entertaining. This latest video for their song This Too Shall Pass features a classic Rube Goldberg machine. It was released March 1st.
Charlie McDonnell is a 19 year English Whovian, Video-Blogger and Musician from Bath, Somerset who is known on YouTube as charlieissocoollike. He plays in a band called Chameleon Circuit that specializes in songs about Doctor Who (they really aren’t bad! – you can listen for yourself on his webpage). Love his Captain Hammer T-Shirt but not the ukulele.
And here’s another vid of Charlie playing with himself but not in THAT way. He puts up videos on YouTube not xTube. He does a great job of combining the audio to duet with himself.
Here is a video made by one of their fans (SmilingLimpet) for the Chameleon Ciurcuit song “An Awful Lot of Running.”
Check out the comments to see a video of another Whovian vlogger who is part of Chameleon Circuit… David Tennent’s teen lookalike – LittleRadge.

Sorry I couldn’t resist sharing this… There is definitely something more than a bit wrong about this song from 19 year old Swedish pop star Eric Saade. But he doesn’t care. He’ll show you how to love. I wonder if this twinkie has even heard of ABBA?
I found it a bit repetively redundant but then again what do you expect from a song called Manboy.
Superhero is The first official music video from new band TimAndTheSpaceCadets. It’s a bit bubble gum for me but it IS adorable. For videos, pictures, music, and lots more, be sure to check out their website… TimAndTheSpaceCadets.com
Plus “Tim” is kinda cute too. Great blue eyes. Possible retouched, but great.
The Muppets resident guinea pig… singing sensation Beaker is back with his own take on the classic ballad, Dust in the Wind. Complete with a running commentary from the usual suspects.

Lady Gaga Teeth… a film by Sergio Ceron – Not an official Haus of Gaga creation but there are some rumors that Lady Gaga funded the video or at least she approves of it. S&M beefcake dentist (who could use a better choreographer) kidnaps a shirtless vampire stud to torture him with…
I don’t really know what the point is other than as a cautionary tale… don’t mess with vampires, and if you do, use handcuffs not rope.
I like it. Its sweet and totally speaks to the part of me that grew up on Schoolhouse Rock. Music is a very effective tool for communicating a message to the masses. And not only is this video political, adorable and catchy, but it is also true. Why else would the state be in such a hurry to keep Perry vs. Schwarzenegger (the landmark civil rights/marriage equality case against Proposition 8 currently underway) from being forever immortalized on YouTube? They don’t want the world AND history to see California as ignorant. But its too late in the information age to keep that sort of thing from happening.
I have no words… well I can say some people have even more time on their hands than I do. Here is a video forwarded to me by regular reader Buttersboi… A video animation by NightShadow02 for albinoblacksheep.com contest Music by Parry Gripp “Up Butt Coconut (Extended Dance Remix).”
Saw this at amusing lip sync video WickedGayBlog over the holidays and managed to stifle the urge to share it at the time, but now I have happened upon it again… so you have to suffer or do something else while you watch. Sorry, but I have a weakness for cute boys who do lip sync videos.
I’m guessing he’ll have a few fans who’d like to give it to him “that way.” Of course my first instinct to dig deeper is a both blessing and a curse. The good news there is two of them. The bad news is I’m not sure if they are TRYING to be funny. But, do we care? I think all hot boys should be encouraged to as goofy as they wanna be on YouTube.
I can think of some different outfits I might have put them for “I Look Good In Leather.” Never heard this song before. Caught me after a night out. But I’m amused.

December Song (I Dreamed Of Christmas) is a very weird song written by George Michael & David Austin. Unsure about I feel about calling snow “white sugar from Jesus.” Kinda creeps me out a bit for some reason.
It sort of sounds like a song about a kid being glad his parents lay off the fighting during the holidays. Very weird video too. No idea what the imagery means or if it is random or deeply symbolic. Thoughts?
