My recent LIFE transplant is still underway
I spent the better part of the Spring and Summer looking at ridiculously priced rentals in San Francisco. Despite parental assistance, there was competition so strong that I was overlooked for couples or other “more stable” tenants even with a good bank balance and a guarantor. Luckily I have family willing to not only help me on a new path, but also to a new space. I’ve abandoned the “Prison/Paradise” rent controlled apartment where I’ve lived for the past 15 years for an utterly fabulous and far better located place where Mom is the off-premises landlord. At first my distinct lack of focus on HnH was been due to HAVING to learn enough about SF realty to make this happen, but now that it has the move and set up phase are taking even more of my time.
Good news is I should be fully settled in between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I WILL be blogging again in the next few weeks.
