Another MARVEL COMIC BOOK MOVIE TRAILER!!! brings us one step closer to next summer’s (2012) most anticipated blockbuster-to-be… The Avengers.

This is a decent first tease trailer, but it reveals little. Just flashes of action and a good look at pre-super-soldier-serum Steve Rogers. Doesn’t Chris Evans look odd as a skinny non-hunk? I’m guessing his withering was done with the same CGI process used for Sam Worthington’s withered legs in Avatar?

The Captain America uniform looks good in motion.
OK I’ll admit I didn’t watch a second of the Superbowl. I honestly didn’t even know who was playing until I saw people out wearing cheese hats. But I’m excited to share this just released and eagerly anticipated trailer for the upcoming Captain America live action film starring Chris Evans as Steve Rogers and Sebastian Stan as Bucky.
So what is missing? No shots from the present and no glimpses of Cap’s WW2 Allies – The Invaders. I want to see Spitfire, The original Human Torch, Miss America… but Union Jack is the only Invader listed in the IMDB credits.
Now lets talk about the poster…

The layout is bold and striking and the use of Cap’s shield is perfect. I also approve of the unmasked Steve Rogers. Chris Evans is too pretty to cover up all the time. I’m not sure what the 2nd wider poster is for… Billboards perhaps? Thoughts?

I’m not into football at all either, but this year I went to my first Superbowl party. Seeing this ad was definitely the best part of the night. I totally had a geekgasm when I saw the Red Skull. And if I thought Chris Evans was sexy as Human Torch, he’s looking way sexier as Cap. It’s so cool to see that him as Skinny-Steve too, instead of another actor. The CGI doesn’t look bad.
