YA story in “I am an Avenger” #5 is ONLY 3 PAGES!!!
I thought I’d hit the jackpot yesterday when I spotted an Alan Davis illustration of the Young Avengers on the cover of I am an Avenger #5 of 5. I’d been skipping the Avengers anthology miniseries because times are tight and I just can’t afford to pick up every book on the stands these days, but was willing to pick up an issue if there was a story featuring the Young Avengers. Now I wasn’t expecting much – but thought the story would at least be a 3rd of the book… NOT 3 FUCKING PAGES! I spent $3.99 plus tax for 3 pages – 4 if you count the cover. So at that price, I’m sharing the 4 pages below so you won’t have to be fooled as well.

Consider it a 3 page preview of the final issue of “I am an Avenger.” 3 PAGES MY ASS! That’s just plain evil. The other stories feature Captain America (Bucky) completely missing the fact that a youth was suicidal and the new Ant-Man realizing he’s actually welcome in Avengers HQ.
