DCD Brightest Day Series 3 – I MUST HAVE THEM ALL!!!
It has been a VERY long time since DCD put out a 4 figure series that I needed to collect in it’s entirety. Usually I only want one or two from a series. But DC Direct’s 3rd wave of Brightest Day figures is quite an exception! The series includes 3 fan fave characters who have yet to see the light of day as action figures (Jade, Hawk and Dove), and one hot new character with both comic and cartoon buzz surrounding him (Aqualad).

This has to be their biggest must have series since the Justice League series 1 that gave us Red Arrow, Black Canary, Vixen and Black Lightning (I skipped the 5th – a crappy Superman) or the Teen Titans series (both of which I completed). I haven’t looked this forward to a set of figs in a long while. One negative comment tho – paint job on Jades shoulders seems weird but its tough to make that design look right – I think I liked the classic Infinity Inc era bare-shouldered costume better.
