Captain America: First Avenger – PLUS The Invaders!!!

Recent talk about the upcoming Captain America: First Avenger movie has revealed a few choice tidbits. First reveal is no BIG surprise…likely big bad is The Red Skull. Which isn’t a huge shocker to any longtime Steve Rogers fans. The other reveal which IS a bit more of a significant revelation. The Invaders will play a BIG part in the second act of the film and will include no less than six members. But they have YET to reveal exactly WHICH six members…

Steve Rogers - Captain America: The First Avenger
Bucky Barnes - kid sidekick to Captain America during his time serving in the United States army during WWII Namor - The Sub-Mariner is a half-Atlantean half human mutant hybrid and king of the submerged continent of Atlantis. Besides being somewhat amphibius he has super strength and the ability to fly. Jim Hammond, the original Human Torch is a android created by Professor Phineas T. Horton. He has the ability to fly and project fire. Mark Anthony Todd - The Blazing Skull He is immune to flame, has superhuman strength, an accelerated healing factor, the ability to create and project fire and ability to make his flesh invisible while leaving his bones visible.</p> <p> Lord James Montgomery Falsworth is the original british adventurer known as Union Jack. He had no special abilities beyond espionage and combat training. Lady Jacqueline Falsworth-Crichton, a.k.a. Spitfire is the Daughter of Union Jack and can run at superhuman speeds.

Now the Invaders had a number of different members over the years, but I’ve narrowed it down to what I thought were some of the more interesting candidates with big screen potential and fanboy panache… Who would YOU like to see fighting ratzis aside Captain America?

    NO WAY! The Invaders? I’m so thrilled. What a great idea! The film is going to be awesome.

    I think Spitfire would be the best bet for a female in the group (rather than Silver Scorpian). I hope they show the transition after she is given the blood transfusion from the Human Torch.

    I think the human torch is a given too since they already have the FX from the F4 movies to fall back on.

    This looks good. All Marvel needs to do is a good script and good actors and this will be a great movie!! Sweet!!!
