Speaking of “generic retconned excuse of an Omega level threat” – that’s what I’ve always thought Sentry was. Plus he’s just another bland Superman analog.
Also, why is Hank Pym carrying two guns? He’s always had those powerful bio-blasts. In an old Marvel Team Up, he said that he upped those blasts to a level that could phase Thor! I hope we aren’t going back to the big gun era of the 90s.
