Secret Six continues to be one of the best titles out there. Anyone who loves the hidden corners of the DCU and is disappointed with the lazy writing in Cry for Justice should definitely pick up some of the Secret Six trades and catch up for this arc.
War is declared on the new Devil’s Island, and the Secret Six are facing off against themselves. On opposite sides and ready to die — or kill! — for their causes, the Six are in a tight spot. But what are they fighting over that’s strong — and brutal — enough to take down Wonder Woman herself? Only Gail Simone and artist Nicola Scott know. But the preview pages below will give you a hint.
There REALLY aren’t that many titles that keep me guessing while still managing to make the surprises perfectly logical in relation to subtle hints previously dropped. Gail Simone is rocking this title.
Gail is taking an issue off after #14 (the Depths conclusion). Issue # 15 will be guest written by John Ostrander – who contrary to popular belief did not create the character of Deadshot – he just “made him awesome.”
But don’t worry – Gail will be back at the helm for issue #16 – She has a very special guest star planned… more on that shortly!
The Ballad of Gay Tony is the second episode of Grand Theft Auto IV. Since Rockstar can keep a secret, we’ll have to wait until the game is actually out on October 29th before we see what kind of “gay content” there is for the gaymers out there. Legendary nightclub entrepreneur Tony Prince aka “Gay Tony” owns the hottest gay and straight clubs in Liberty City and player avatar and hoodlum Luis Lopez is Gay Tony’s assistant.
Let’s hope the gay aspects of the storyline extend a bit beyond the ability to beat up tranny hookers. This could end up being a shining moment in the history of LGBT characters in video games, or it could end up as a stereotypical slap in the collective face of gaymers everywhere.
I’m not big on console games so my experience with the GTA series is limited to its advertising and media coverage. Were ther romantic subplots? All I know is you steal cars and beat up prostitutes. What else is there to do that might have a gay bent is this new version?

Most noteable form his Falcon oeuvre is his starring vehicle Through the Woods – a little-red-riding-hoodie-themed epic that follows naughty Pierre all the way from a fuckbuddy scene with his roomate to him hitching a ride with a sexy farmer and finally to grandma’s house where he is thoroughly plowed by Gus Mattox as the Big Bad Mr. Wolf.
Pierre Fitch’s experience with Falcon taught him to enough of the inner-workings of the adult film biz that he decided to take a chance and strike out on his own. He was one of the first of this generation of pornstars to leave the stuidios behind and create his own brand with PierreFitchBlog, PierreFitchOnline and PierreFitch.tv (under the umbrella of Fitch Media Inc.) because he wanted control to do his own thing and to have a place where he could interact with fans.

He’s met a 9-year-old assassin and been on a super hero team-up. He’s watched people die and seen himself become an internet celebrity. But all that means nothing—compared to tonight. MARK MILLAR and JOHN ROMITA JR.’s foul-mouthed super hero saga continues!
It’s really too bad that this series didn’t come out monthly in a timely manner. The story would have had so much more impact if it had maintained some momentum AND been released before development on the movie revealed spoiler-type details (early descripttions of as McLovin’s character “Red Mist” being the son of a crimelord made last issue’s big reveal no surprise at all.
There were a few poorly chosen words used as battle taunts – If you are going for realism I suppose they might be said by someone in that situation, but do we have to reinforce that kind of language? Anyway, other than those moments this has been an interesting telling of a compelling story. If only the chapters didn’t come out so far apart I have to read the wiki to refresh my memory every time one comes out.

Bad boy bodybuilder turned porn icon Mark Dalton was born Jeramy James Sons (or Jeremy James Sons or Jeremy James Son – depending on your source) in Denton Texas on March 6 1980. He was first "discovered" at the age of 18 while dancing onstage at a strip club for women called La Bare. The identity of Mark Dalton was born during his first solo video shoot.
About a year later someone recognized Dalton from those first videos and pointed him to an online forum at MuscleService.com where he’d become a hot topic with over 1000 posts about him. Two weeks later he was in LA and shot covers for 7 different magazines.
In addition to numerous appearances in gay skin mags, he also appeared in Playgirl magazine and was included in its "100 Sexiest Men Alive" in 2002, ranking in the top 50. 2002 also marked the first time his burgeoning porn career was interupted for a visit to the big house. Mark Dalton was convicted of possession of GHB in 2002, but got probation.
In 2004 Dalton’s probation was revoked after a female acquaintance Marcy Lopez testified in court that he assaulted her. He was sentenced to 5 years but was released on parole in 2005. He was re-arrested May 31st, 2007 in Denton County Texas and was charged with "Assault/Family Violence" and "interfering with a 911 call." He posted his $7500 bail, but failed to report the arrest to his parole officer and on June 11 a warrant was issued for his arrest. This was the arrest that generated the mugshot-jacked-off-to-round the-world.
After serving 90 days in county jail on two misdemeanor assault charges to which he pleaded guilty, he was returned to a TDCJ facility at Mineral Wells, Texas, for parole violation. Where he remained until his recent February 2009 parole. He is poised to relaunch his career and has his own website at MarkDaltonXXX.com.
If history hold true he’s due for at least one movie before landing in the slammer again. Let’s hope you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. I personally don’t get all the fuss over someone who isn’t even gay-for-pay. I don’t mind if they are straight, but if you want to be a gay pornstar, you gotta put out.
