It honestly isn’t every week that I anticipate Wednesday and my comics as much as I am this week. Pretty much completely due to the arrival of X-Factor #46.
It’s Siryn in the fight of her life against the absolute last person that she would have expected to be battling. And Madrox, Layla and Ruby find themselves under assault by the Sentinels just when they’re on the verge of discovering the mystery behind Cortex!
As much as i love a good catfight, let’s hope we get a few pages of the unfolding homodrama going on in the present as well! As hooked as I ALREADY was on the Summers Rebellion future arc I’m now much more eagerly anticipating what happens AFTER Ric ‘n Shatty’s very warm greeting.
Not the best routine I’ve seen, but it definitely gets fanboy points.
Dr. Victor von Doom of Latveria takes a break from his hectic schedule of super-villainy to do a stand-up act at Bar Bacon IV, a comedy show held the last Friday of each month in Hampden (Baltimore, MD) at the Golden West Cafe.
The Fantastic Four get their comeuppance at this imposing figure’s metal-gloved hands, as they are pierced repeatedly by his rapier wit. For more videos from this director, visit www.tuffnerd.com

The Justice League has seen their foes band together on a number of occasions… as the Legion of Doom, the Injustice League and the Secret Society of Super Villains. Alex Ross’ amazing maxi-series JUSTICE is a beautiful telling of a classic tale of good vs evil. It’s silver-age setting appeals to longtime fanboys (and girls) and the breathtaking art of each and every panel takes the reader back to those unjaded moments of youth when a simple comic book was every-bit as as exciting as todays FX laden movies.

ABSOLUTE JUSTICE, is a beautiful collectible hardcover, collecting the series from writer Jim Krueger, artist Doug Braithwaite and some guy named Alex Ross hits in November. And because we can never get too much Ross goodness, above is the previously-unseen dustjacket from the collection, and below you can find some character sketches that will also be in the Absolute edition.
