36 year old Scorpio power pup Steve Cruz is one of those porn performers who really puts that something extra into each and every performance. Cruz’s excellence was quickly rewarded. He preceded 2009 winner Ricky Sinz as Raging Stallion’s man of the year in 2008, and has directed a series of films for Falcon Studio’s slightly-less-shaved Mustang Imprint.
Since I love creative types, lovers of pop culture and cat people, Cruz gets extra kudos for being a painter/illustrator as well as bass guitar and keyboard player, a rabid South Park fan and owner of a 27 pound cat imaginatively named “Kitty.”

Gay Porn power couple, Steve Cruz and Bruno Bond first met online through Steve’s MySpace page. They corresponded about Bond entering “the Biz” for several months before Cruz eventually cast Bond in his second Mustang feature – Red Light. when Bond met cruz on set, he knew “He was the man for him.” That same weekend Cruz negotiated with Raging Stallion that a scheduled Bruno Bond solo get turned into full sex scene, co-starring Steve Cruz (his first appearance in front of the camera after almost a year break). Since they had just met in person and were booked to shoot that weekend, that scene was the couple’s first sex experience (and you can watch it in Menace). Within a month he had returned to Atlanta, closed down his business, sold all of his of stuff and moved to San Francisco.

Prior to his rise to porn stardom, Cruz cleaned up from a speed addiction (in 1999) and turned his life around. He has gone on to give back to the community by founding his HowIRoll campaign to stop the spread of HIV and STDs by:
• promoting condom use
• providing information
• opening a dialogue about prevention methods.
• to remind us all that safer and hotter sex is still happening

Cruz has also been photographed by a number of top photographers, as showcased on the covers of Joe Oppedisano’s Uncensored and Raging Stallion: Magnum (featuring photohgraphs by Kent Taylor).

In addition to the many films he has appeared in, Steve Cruz has also directed a number of excellent fuck flicks. He directed AND starred in Raging Stallion’s two part Hotter Than Hell. He also directed XXX, Blue Movie, Red Light and their upcoming (still in production) release Green Door.
