Liveblogging Uncanny X-Men #511 – Sisterhood
Seems like recent subplots are coming to a head in the Uncanny X-Men, so I thought I’d give you a running commentary of my random thoughts as I read it…

BEWARE TOTAL SPOILERS BELOW!!!
Thoughts: Tracer or not, Greg Land did turn out a helluva cover… but his smiling, looking into the camera faces are starting to look more and more obviously lifted from photos. And why do his women always look like they are standing in front of a wind tunnel?
Um how is it that Scott knows that The Red Queen is a psychic ghost looking for a new body? Did she tell him? I don’t remember that. Gotta love Emma’s crack about Scott’s “dead wives.”

OMG – When did Dazzler get that killer instinct? She usually blinds opponents or tries something creative, but to burn off half the face of a possessed former teammate? That’s kinda harsh. Good thing Psylocke’s regular body was nearby and waiting, but Ali had no way to know that would happen. It will be nice to have Betsy back with the X-Men. I’ve missed her since she was shunted off to Exiles.
Why didn’t super speedster Northstar take Spiral’s swords as he runs through – In fact why didn’t he hit her or do ANYTHING? Was he creating a vortex and lifting her off the ground or just out for a jog?

And the Red Queen falls prey to the oldest trick in the book – the bait and switch. Well that’s about the only way to beat a foe you can’t touch.
All that and now Hank is calling Scott and Emma on the secrets. Hmmm setting the stage for the Dark X-Men?

I’m not happy with the Psylocke logo – Is there a real one from any one shots? Anyone want to design one and send it to me?
