The trailer for the second movie in the four book Twilight saga is out, and boy does wolfboy Jacob Black look good. He is Taylor Lautner and if he looks different, it is because he put on 30 pounds of muscle between the films to bring the characters drastic transformation to life. Here’s a more few shots of him.
The rules are simple – you take a classic video (preferably an 80s pop song) and you replace the original soundtrack with your own vocals singing a literal version of what is happening in the video.
So I dug up a few of the more amusing ones I could find…

Well maybe for awhile. We’ll see.
It seems since the beginning, the pages of the X-Men have contained a great love story. Although the courtship and relationship of Scott and Jean was interrupted briefly by her “death,” it picked up right where it left off upon her return. Other romances have been written (Scott and Madelyne, Scott and Emma, Alex and Lorna, Kitty and Pietor, Betsy and Warren, Rogue and Magneto) but only one other pairing has generated anywhere near the support as that of Scott and Jean… the impossible (until now) romance of Rogue and Gambit.
Despite the fact that her powers make physical touch impossible, these two fell in love. They’ve had some times when she was depowered or had her powers temporarily inhibited, but other than that it was strictly no skin to skin contact. Until now. As of X-Men Legacy #224, Rogue is cured. Xavier (with the aid of a now helpful Danger) was able to remove personality partitions in her mind and allow her powers to reach their “mature phase”for the first time.
My prediction: Scott and Emma are breaking up so Rogue and Remy get to be the big romance for awhile. Next time Scott is stable with Emma (or Jean for that matter), Rogue’s lack of control may come back – (perhaps while she’s dramatically pregnant).
So we saw what happens when she DOESN’T use her powers… nothing. But I wonder if there are any other differences to the mature phase of her powers besides her newfound control? I’m looking forward to getting to know the all-new Rogue, but I’m still not sure how I feel about them “fixing” such a fundamental part of the character.

I wasn’t as blown out of the water by issue #1 as I would have liked. It was OK. I think my expectations are a bit high as I was a HUGE fan of the original series – which started not that long after I started reading comics. Also they’ve shown us such amazingly beautiful covers that I found the interior art to be a merely adequate let-down.
“RETURN OF LEGION” One of the most dangerous X-Villains of all time is back and he’s targeted the New Mutants. Last time Legion reared his head, he created the Age of Apocalpyse. Do Cannonball, Karma, Magma, Moonstar and Magik have much hope of stopping him now?
I’m definitely going to give more than it a few more issues out of love for the characters – which I’m sure Marvel is counting on. I hope something truly great comes out of it. What did you guys think?
If you’ve got a thing for recently resurfaced C1R exclusive Benjamin Bradley or have the hots for hunky boys in boots, than C1R has something special just for you with Tread Heavy – a sexy selection of scenes with the usual suspects and a few fresh faces going at it with their boots on.
C1R Exclusive BENJAMIN BRADLEY is back in a tour-de-force performance for Director CHI CHI LARUE. Benjamin’s obsession with a pair of black leather boots leads him on a dark odyssey filled with outstanding sexual situations which include: JOHNNY HAZZARD getting plowed by fat dick BROCK ARMSTRONG, Audience Favorite BLAKE RILEY sticking his bubble butt on top of ROD DAILY‘S throbbing cock and BRADLEY himself getting hot and horny with both NELSON TROY and C1R Exclusive JEREMY BILDING.
I’m really looking forward to this book. It makes sense that Green Lantern would not take the recent losses during Final Crisis well and put together a more proactive team. The line-up is a bit odd (c’mon you can’t tell me you weren’t a bit surprised to see Congorilla, the bisexual blue Starman and Batwoman on the team). I’m all for it – we certainly need more heroic inclusion and we’ve never had 2 openly LGBT characters on a JLA team before. Previously we’d seen some cover art and a few random pages, but Newsarama showed us some real penciled pages from the book which is due in July.
What brings a team together? Justice! Batman and Martian Manhunter have been slaughtered. But he’s not the only hero to fall at the hands of villains. The murder has to stop, and it’s time to take the fight to the bad guys! Heroes have fallen and Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Supergirl, Batwoman, Atom, Shazam, Congorilla (REALLY?) and Starman unite in a cry for justice!
This 6-part miniseries from James Robinson (STARMAN, SUPERMAN) and rising star artist Mauro Cascioli (TRIALS OF SHAZAM) pushes our heroes to the brink and beyond as evil can no longer be tolerated to win. But when Prometheus plans his revenge on not only the heroes, but on the very places they call home, will this new team be ready to pay the cost for the justice they seek? This time it’s personal – and it’ll only get more bloody before it’s over!
I WILL be interested to see what events unfold that result in this disparate group pulling together. I’m also curious how it is going to impact the main JLA title – especially now that it seems to be floundering as a supposedly flagship title that has been reduced to something that TRIES to tell a story or two in between crossovers.
