Dark Avengers #5 – the Dark Reign continues
(4 votes, average: 4.75 out of 5)When Norman Osborn first took the controls from Tony Stark I wasn’t sure how I was going to like Dark Reign. But I am really enjoying just about everything about this current status quo of the Marvel U. For one thing, it has given us semi-logical reasons for multiple teams (one team of awol Avengers, Norman’s Dark Avengers and Loki’s (in the guise of the Scarlet Witch) New Avengers, for another, it actually made the Sentry actually interesting. Seeing how Norm interacts and identifies with Bob is unsettling to say the least. I think Norm is starting to rethink his choice – but I guess better have Bob by your side than out of sight doing void-knows-what.
When the public is reminded of Norman’s terrible past, Norman’s wheeling and dealing becomes a public concern. Plus, some of the Avengers are getting frisky with each other, and that can’t be good. Plus the return of…the Cabal!
