Justice League: A Cry for Justice – sneak peek
I’m really interested in seeing what Eisner Award-winning creator James Robinson (Starman) has in store for this oddly disparate group of heroes. I’m excited to see Batwoman making some connections in the DCU meta community, and overjoyed to see Mikaal Tomas back in the limelight again (I DO wonder how they will handle his alien bisexuality).
Driven by the deaths of Batman and Martian Manhunter during “Final Crisis,” Green Lantern and Green Arrow assemble a proactive Justice League including Supergirl, Batwoman, The Atom (Ray Palmer), Freddy Freeman, Congorilla and Starman (Mikaal Tomas). The team is poised to finally wipe the smiles of the faces of evil operating within the DC Universe. And Prometheus’ face is one of the evilest.
Originally announced as an ongoing series in March of 2008, the project became a mini-series in order to enable the author to work out a true ending for the story which features painted art and covers by The Trials of Shazam artist, Mauro Cascioli.

Very excited for this book, but mainly for James Robinson because that man knows how to write a good comic book!
Love the art, but just wish DC would stop putting all their eggs into the baskets of artists who can’t deliver their work on time.
