Young X-Men’s End Game

While Dust is in mortal danger in the present, in the future she appears to BE the mortal danger. I like Dust and hope the present events of series finale issue 12 prevent her from becoming a future threat.
Dust fights for her life and the team is in the fight of theirs. Everything comes full circle in their final confrontation with the X-Baddie who started it all: Donald Pierce.
CHECK out adult Anole in his boxers… thankfully someone rips his other arm off at some point to make him symmetrical again.
If only the Daniel Acuna artwork from the beautiful future sequences was the status quo for the series, it might have lasted a few more issues, or perhaps the writing team might have stepped up to the same level. I was a big fan of the original Days of Future Past X-Men arc, so I pay attention when the next disturbing possible x-future shows up in print. Emma as Diamondheart. Anole and Graymalkin as 2 of the last 6 mutants left (tho no future romantic entanglements were revealed in issue 11’s flash forwards). Check out the gorgeous Acuna art from Issue 11…

Ugh, what have they done to Anole, I really hate when they keep changing artists.

which version of Anole are you complaining about? Anole on the cover (looks a bit different than interior version)? Or present day Anole? Or Daniel Acuna’s future buff version of Anole all grown up and muscled?
They are changing artists to differentiate between present and future sequences, but I agree it is unsuccessful. To publish anyone else’s art next to Acuna’s just doesn’t work. It just makes the other artists work look like chopped liver next to filet mignon.

I liked the way he looked when they started him out, I wanted to get into this series but it jumps all over the place so much and the artists changing all the time keep me from knowing where to start.
and I’m not really complaining, it’s just more of a gripe.
The cover looks ok btw the inside just really isn’t my ideal version of him.
I think I liked him best when he looked more human with scales and green skin then a big lumpy thing he’s turning into. *shrugs*

I’ve always been an avid viewer of Marvel characters on TV. Since I was I kid, X-Men and Spiderman have been on the list of shows I look forward to when Friday comes. These shows only air on Friday nights in our city.
