What is with the disconnect between the Countdown Black Mary Marvel on the Cover and the Final Crisis Black Mary Marvel on the interior? How hard is it to pick a Black Mary Marvel costume? If the current costume looks too silly on the cover (as I think the balding anime pigtails would) – ask the artist to pitch with something better.

With any good gossip-worthy gay pornstar catfight has at least 2 sides to it and this one is no exception. When the blogosphere lit up with news of Brent Corrigan and Michael Lucas’ Saturday Night’s GayVN afterparty drama, both stars quickly got their version out there. I had posted about Lucas’s press release yesterday, so I’ll start with Brent’s side…
In what was an otherwise wonderful evening there was some negativity directed at me from Michael Lucas. While unprovoked, his attempts to thwart a special evening for me were unsuccessful. Without warrant or invite, ML forced himself onto the stage and to the mic during a transitional moment during the show’s proceedings. Bitterly and maliciously, he made this statement:
“Shame on the judges who nominated and awarded Corrigan. On a night we honor ASACP there should be no forgiveness for the company’s and individuals who put the industry in danger by supporting this . . .”
and RE the afterparty drama…
Mr. Lucas’ account of the evening in his blog is one long string of fallacies.
He reported that the next my boyfriend was taken into custody after threatening ML at the after party.
No one was arrested, and no one was threatened with any sort of bodily harm. Michael Lucas did say to my boyfriend, however, that he would “never, ever stop harassing your boyfriend!”
Later in the evening after the show, at the after party, Michael Lucas put himself between my boyfriend and me and the exit of the club. We were on our way home. He forced his body into Paul (my boyfriend of almost one year) and stepped on his toes and shoes. Michael immediately was hostile and a shouting match began. Paul requested the aid of two security officials of the venue. A warning was issued to Michael Lucas. The club was loud, there were many people around but words could not easily be heard over the noise unless you were within inches of the incident like I was. Despite this and what lies have been told, no threats of bodily harm or death were made ever to Michael Lucas. Names were called and threats of social ruin and disdain were made.
Paul and I woke the following morning at 8 AM with several police officers at our bedside. Paul was cuffed and taken out into the hallway so he could be questioned separately from me. Paul is 6 foot, 200 + pounds. There was no resist or hostility from either parties; the cuffs were used as a precaution based on the misleading statements ML had previously made to the authorities.
This occurred because Michael Lucas’ pride and ego was brutally wounded when he was booed and the bulk of the GayVN patrons expressed distaste for his uninvited ranting on stage at the event. Michael filed false statements of a serious nature to use the San Francisco Police force as a pawn in his charade. Are you seeing the trend here?
There is nothing new about my campaign against the honoring of Brent Corrigan. I took to the stage to speak out against nominating him, which was made very timely after for the ASACP was recognized for their child protection. In my speech, I said shame on those who nominated and awarded Corrigan. There should be no forgiveness for the company’s and individual who put the industry in danger.
speaking your mind can be dangerous. At the after party, Corrigan’s boyfriend came up to me and bumped his chest against mine. I do not know the boyfriend’s name but I know that it’s not his ex Grant Roy. This guy was a buff Latin male that appears to be in his thirties .He then threatened that he was going to kill me and demand that we leave the club together immediately so that he could break my neck. The club’s security swiftly came and separated him; he came back and told me that he will splash acid into my face, “which will be the end of your career.” I called the police immediately when I reached the hotel and recalled to them what happened. The cops went to Corrigan’s room, but the couple was still out partying elsewhere.
I called the police at 7:00 am, San Francisco time, as soon as I found out that they were back in their room (I simply called the room and Corrigan picked up the phone). The police were there within ten minutes. They talked to Corrigan and his boyfriend for about twenty minutes, and then handcuffed the boyfriend and took him into custody.
Lucas mentioned having witnesses and gave out a phone number asking for anyone else who saw the drama to call, so I suppose we may find out what happened – or the story may vanish with the next piece of gossip… Whose side of the story do YOU believe?
NakedSword has posted a timeline of the whole day’s drama… I had missed a few portions of the catfight, which apparently started hours before Lucas’s leap onstage.
Well that is one lesson learned… Here are some shots that popapathy took of me at Saturday morning’s Pornstar studded Mimosa-soaked GayVN Brunch Benefit (All proceeds went to benefit the StopAIDS project) at the Lookout here in sunny (at least that day) San Francisco. I had a hard enough time getting my ass outta bed to get there by 11am after the night before. And you can probably tell because I look like crap. At this point no surprises here, but next week, at long last the Teen Titans get a new line-up. From the cover, it looks like Aquagirl, Static, Bombshell, Miss Martian and Kid Eternity will be joining Wonder Girl, Blue Beetle and Red Devil on the front lines for the upcoming Vigilante/Titans/Teen Titans crossover… Deathtrap! Having M’gan back will be good for the team as it has been lacking is power with recent defections.
Get ready for the debut of the new Teen Titans line-up! What surprising heroes show up as part of the team? Who made the cut and who got sent home? And where do they go from here?
Those of you who haven’t enjoyed the recent ride should be happy to hear that Sean McKeever is abandoning writing the main series after issue #71. I haven’t minded so much and actually enjoyed the Wonderdog subplot. I’m also inrigued that the ailing Wendy is the daughter of the Calculator who blames the Titans for her injuries. McKeever will still write the Ravager back-up stories that will be included with Teen Titans as of issue 72. I hope they bring her back into the Titan’s fold.
Raging Stallion continued to be a big winner with their cowboy snuff epic To The Last Man taking BEST PICTURE, BEST DIRECTOR (Chris Ward, Ben Leon and Tony Dimarco), BEST SCREENPLAY (Tony Dimarco), BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY (AGAIN Chris Ward, Ben Leon and Tony Dimarco), BEST ART DIRECTION, BEST EDITING, BEST MUSIC (JD Slater/Nekked), BEST DVD EXTRAS AND BEST DVD SPECIAL EDITION.
Besides winning for BEST THREESOME and PERFORMER OF THE YEAR 2009, Logan McCree and his real life love interest Vinnie D’Angelo won for BEST SEX SCENE DUO (for their scene in The Drifter). While accepting the award, Logan kissed his man on the cheek and said, “It was really really good sex.” How long have they been together? Does anyone know if they were boyfriends when the winning scene was shot?
The only MAJOR drama came when the always outspoken recently married botoxed diva Michael Lucas (who won nothing but was inducted to the Hall of Fame to more jeers than cheers from the audience) stormed onstage after ASACP was honored to interrupt the proceedings by verbally chastising Brent Corrigan (Winner for BEST BOTTOM, BEST PRO/AM FILM AND best twink film (for Just the Sex Volumes 1 & 2) saying that Brent did not deserve to be there because he entered the adult film while underage industry with forged documents.
UPDATE: Apparently the drama did not end there. According to Brent Corrigan’s self proclaimed biggest fan DeWayne in San Diego, the sparks didn’t REALLY fly until the afterparty where the two performers and their respective boyfriends allegedly had words until the police were called.
Lucas later twittered that Corrigan’s boyfriend stalked him and threatened to throw acid in his face and kill him, also claiming that cops took the unidentified boyfriend away in handcuffs this morning. According to DeWayne, Michael Lucas did file a police report but no one was arrested. More on THAT continuing drama as it unfolds. In a press release from Lucas today, he described the person who threatened him as a “buff latin male” in his mid thirties, but did not have his name.
Other GayVN HALL OF FAME inductees include: Dink Flamingo, TJ Paris, Dean Phoenix, Jack Simmons, Phil St. John and Chris Steele. The LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD went to Roger Earl (no NOT the drummer from Foghat, the pioneering director of such gay classics as the 1975 film Born to Raise Hell, 1983’s Gayracula and Men of the Midway. Chi Chi LaRue was honored with the Trailblazer award, but was unable to attend due to a conflict that kept her down under – no she was actually in Australia. So she sent in this “live” statement.
Funnyman Alec Mapa (a.k.a. Ugly Betty’s Suzuki St. Pierre) performed a killer comedy set in short shorts and was damned funny with jokes he couldn’t have told at any other awards show.
Next up was self-proclaimed “first supermodel” Janice Dickinson, who looked slinky and fabulous – at least from where I was waaaaay up in the balcony. Well received by an adoring crowd, she was charming and amusing as she nominated Margaret Cho for BEST BOTTOM and asked a few pornstars to “drop trou,” but no one did (at least not for her) before she was poured into her trailer. In her defense – I have no idea how anyone could walk in those heels.
Margaret Cho popped up onstage a few times before it was time for her own all too short act. As far as I’m concerned you can’t keep her talking long enough. We love you Margaret Cho!
Although there were a few problems… RJ Danvers didn’t win for one… also the video background was all GayVN and Nakedsword logos with a very tiny video window and the sketches/musical numbers left a bit to be desired, all in all it was a gala pornstar studded event with the hottest boys in the industry and some vicious drama to boot. Congratulations to the remaining winners who I will list below!

The GayVN tailgate parties were awesome last night. We started out at Qbar where the Falcon boys were and got freebies of Roman’s Holiday and Rough Play. After that we continued on to ACTIVATE! at Lookout which was populated with HotHouse men. As we got there so did the Falcon Boys – Roman Heart with boyfriend Benjamin Bradley in tow, Aden and Jordan Jaric, Erik Rhodes and Rough Play coverboy TJ Hawke. I got the DVD’s signed of course and will eventually be offering them up as prizes!
Anyway the gossip comes from a moment where I was up on the V.I.P. platform having the Jaric’s sign a DVD when who should walk in but a certain Russian press hungry self made porn star/mogul who is based in New York. He proceed to stroll briskly from one end of the V.I.P. area to the other without so much as a glance to the Falcon boys, much less a hello. I could tell from the expressions of the guys faces that they definitely noticed the snub. Who knew he was so rude. Well Its not a surprise from the tone of most of his blog posts.
And that was just a pre-party… who knows what I’ll see tonight.

After last issue’s shocker that Hydra ran S.H.I.E.L.D. all along Nick Fury (Agent of Nothing) has his work cut out for him. How can he and his hand picked team defeat an evil organization so vast and powerful that it has controlled the forces of order from behind the scenes for decades without anyone even suspecting anything? Is Stonewall gay? By the way… I’m not going to stop asking that until he shows some kind of inclination in either direction.
The most talked-about new Marvel series continues as HYDRA’s plans pick up speed while more remnants of S.H.I.E.L.D. fall. Nick Fury reconnects with an old colleague and finds out that the balance has shifted between him and some of his former soldiers. All that, and the Warriors suffer their first casualty of war.
If you haven’t been reading this, pick it up. It is definitely one of the best titles Marvel has going right now (and that is saying a lot as they have a surprising number of quality new series staring up).
Unsurprisingly, the elected asshole left ignorance, hatred and bigotry off the list of forces affecting peoples decision making on this issue. During a press conference Wednesday, Vermont Governor Jim Douglas announced that he will veto the marriage equality bill even if makes it all the way through the state legislature (it passed the state senate and it’s currently in the House) to his desk.
Vermont Freedom to Marry is calling for a rally tomorrow morning at the Vermont statehouse beginning at 8:45 am. They write: “We need to thank the Legislators for their leadership and to URGE Gov. Douglas to change his mind. The Governor has a Legislative Open Door from 9am-9:30am.”

I am glad to see these two side by side again. I hope they can rekindle the old romance. I was a big West Coast Avengers fan back in the day. It’s great to see rodays writers mining that era for new ideas (without WCA, we would not have Wiccan and Speed).
Ronin & Mockingbird have found each other again, but they might be wishing they hadn’t! There’s a ticking time bomb out there and these two are going to have to either set aside their issues or duke it out before an entire city goes “BOOM!” Odds are there’ll be a fight!
Plus, what secret has Bobbi been carrying with her since BEFORE the Secret Invasion?
I’ve seen this show a few times. The show usually depicts interesting yet disturbing scenarios where you really hope the people there do the right thing yet they often let you and the victims whose pain they witness. The reactions of this random crowd in a New Jersey sports bar to a real-life gay couple (also actors paid to be themselves in a potentially unpleasant setting) made me tear up a bit. Check this out…

I have to thank JetSetMen for providing us images of the full cast of their upcoming film Tackle – which we can only hope will be showing us the behind the bleacher action of hot young footballers in heat.
The Tackle cast includes amazingly hot (former) Ginch Gonch poster boy (sorry I lust after him despite the ommpa loompa pallor) – Benjamin Bradley(whom I believe is back together with former beau and fellow porn legend Roman Heart – but it is hard to keep track) and the DVD return of Jesse Santana (previously signed to a www exclusive with CockyBoys because his friends told him no one watches DVD anymore). I’m glad to see both of these legends-in-the-making back on video store shelves where they belong. Websites are fine and good, but DVD is forever – or at least until the plastic degrades.
The stellar Tackle cast also includes porn own ginger phenom Blu Kennedy, David Dakota, Conner O’Riley, Josh Griffen, Luke Cassidey and Marcus Steele all working those uniforms and pads. If you weren’t on the team – you thought they were hot. If you were then you KNEW they were hot. I always appreciate a peek into a locker room that has been this well cast. I’ll definitely keep you posted.
