The next few Legendary Studs of Yore are up to you!

I’ve decided to put it up for a vote. I’m still working on finding a survey that can accept write in candidates so you’ll have to make do from a list for this poll… The top choices out of this crop of ex-porn studs will be the next few featured as Legendary Studs of Yore!

If I’ve left someone off the list that you feel ABSOLUTELY belongs on the list – by all means comment and they may be added to the next poll. Until then, here is a taste of each nominee – so you get a better idea of who you want to see in action.

JEFF STRYKER
KEN RYKER
JAKE ANDREWS
TOM CHASE
Jeff Stryker Ken Ryker Jake Andrews Tom Chase
Lane Fuller Joey Stefano Billy Brandt Christian Fox
LANE FULLER
JOEY STEFANO
BILLY BRANDT
CHRISTIAN FOX

I decided to move the poll itself to top of the sidebar – but the Poll widget I used allows photos so that may help knowing who you are voting for. If you already voted, please revote. Sorry.

Remember Studs of Yore is a category for guys who are gone from the porn scene (some long gone). If you don’t recognize any names you are just too darn young and fresh to have heard of them. Feel free to request CURRENT porn stars as well, I don’t call it BY REQUEST for nothing…

ALSO – I added some action shots to the very first Legendary Stud of Yore… The Mike Branson gallery was a bit sparse before I recovered my old hard drive. But not now, Check him out – he was so damn hot in motion. Like a big gay for pay jackhammer sculpted by Michelangelo.

Live Action Powers TV series to air on FX

The previously announced live action Powers TV series now has a network attached to it. Series co-creator, Brian Michael Bendis confirmed it will air on FX during an MTV interview at NYCC 2009.

“‘Powers’ is in active development as a pilot at FX,” Bendis told MTV. “I just handed in a draft to the network and we’re getting our notes from the network as soon as this thing is over. So next week I’ll get the notes, and as long as they don’t involve sock puppets and some sort of orgy scene that I’m not interested in, then hopefully it will go in the right direction.”

The Powers comic briefly flirted with a silver screen adaption in 2001, when it was optioned by SONY, but after waves of “innapropriate screenplays”, the project faded into limbo. Lucky for us, I’d actually RATHER see it as a great tv show! Lets hope they can do it right!

Do you think they should start with Retro Girl arc that started the series? or a different one?
