And before you ask, NO aspiring underwear and fitness model Scott Herman (a.k.a. “abs“) WASN’T one of the myriad of LGBT characters from the Real World (a lesbian whose dating her first man, a gay boy and a FTM post op transsexual). Whoever the are, if they like men, then living with this dude has to be both heaven and hell. So near but yet so far. I usually don’t go for straight boys but then again, they usually don’t look like this or live in the next room. I hope the gay boy and transsexual have more willpower and tact than I would after a few cosmos.
For most reality TV show contestants, the fame cycle doesn’t even last a full 15 minutes. But Scott Herman, the Massachusetts native currently flexing his abs on The Real World: Brooklyn, has big plans to change that. Namely, the model-actor (hopeful) wants to take his adonis physique from MTV and the pages of Men’s Health to a gig for Calvin Klein and beyond. (Hey, it worked for one CK model.)

But for now, we know him as the good looking straight blonde on Real World — conscious of his beauty without too much vanity. And unlike plenty of beefy hetero frat guys we’ve meet before, Scott is not a raging homophobe! In fact, it’s his guy’s guy relationship with token gay JD and his burgeoning friendship with transexual Katelynn that bought the hearts of plenty of viewers

Scott runs his own fitness site ScottHermanFitness.com and has become a minor YouTube celebrity with his instructional videos and commentaries. His site has a number of free demos for exercises (with photos and diagrams), a customized meal plan service (for $9.99 a month – but he DOES NOT show up to cook for you naked – I asked) as well as a number of instructional articles from Scott and Exercises Physiologist – Brian McKay on subjects ranging from deal ing with lower back pain to the secret to great abs.

Scott is a personal trainer, model and actor who has been working out since the age of 14. He recently received the designation of having the “best abs on the East Coast”, and was featured in Men’s Health magazine. The first in his family to graduate from college, he educates the public on health and fitness with his website. Along with Chet, he is one of two Republicans in the Real World house.
