Hulk VS … Wolverine and Thor
I don’t know why the major companies don’t put their product BEFORE the holiday gift giving season. In Hulk VS, an epic new animated DVD coming to stores in January 2009, the Hulk takes on Asgardians, mutants, heroes and villains alike. And as usual, Hulk SMASH! Or he sure tries.
In case you didn’t know, Wolverine was first introduced as a Hulk villain in Incredible Hulk #180 (October 1974). He was created by writer Len Wein and Marvel art director John Romita Sr., who designed the character, and that first Marvel appearance was illustrated by Herb Trimpe. Wolverine later joined the X-Men’s “All New, All Different” roster in Giant-Size X-Men #1 (May 1975).
This dark, violent, smash and slash story was first told in issue 181 of THE INCREDIBLE HULK and the rematches have continued to thrill comic fans ever since. Now Marvel and Lionsgate takes the best of those famous comic book battles and merges them into one heart pounding 33-minute story.
