Star Trek 05.08.09
I’m really psyched for some of the great movies lined up for spring and summer 2009. The new (and the eleventh in the fan-fave franchise) Star Trek is pretty high up on my list (along with Watchmen and Wolverine: Origins). Sexy Sylar as Spock if perfect casting and Chris Pine is a complete hottie. I can imaging him screwing his way across the cosmos Kirk-style. And English funnyman Simon Pegg should provide some memorable moments as Scotty.

Fay Slift runs Hot’n'Cold
I have to admit I find the hairy-chested drag queens a bit disturbing. Even for laughs, it just seems to go against the whole concept. But otherwise Toronto Drag Queen Fay Slift is pretty entertaining. Here she is working it to Katy Perry’s Hot ‘n’ Cold.

Mockingbird lives!
New Avengers: The Reunion is a four issue miniseries coming in March, with words by Jim McCann and art by David Lopez.
“But do she and Hawkeye/Ronin stand reunited as a couple? Is this the reunion they hoped for? And just why is Bobbi Morse back now? Answers will come and more mysteries begin in the prologue in “Dark Reign: New Nation,” on sale December 17, and continue in New Avengers: The Reunion”
Apparently Mockingbird now fights crime in a thong while standing in the customary contortionist cheesecake pose showing off her ass, rack and face all at the same time. Also where is her right tunic sleeve?
I have nothing against a strong woman looking hot (you GO Bobbi!), but she’s blocking Clint’s well muscled forearms. C’mon give the fangirls and gay fanboys SOMETHING! Whatever happened to equal opportunity sexual exploitation?

Punisher War Zone #1
The latest Punisher movie may suck, but Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s return to the character looks to be just as bizarre, entertaining and possibly even more disturbing than their original run.
“THE RESURRECTION OF MA GNUCCI,” PART 1 The latest offering from the red-hot Marvel Knights line is a weekly-shipping 6-part limited sequel to their legendary story arc, “Welcome Back, Frank.” It all starts when two mobsters take a trip to the zoo and piss off the wrong monkey. Limbs are lost (the kind you can’t easily replace), vultures are fed (with said appendages), and then things get, like, really crazy. Like back-from-the-dead crazy. That’s right — she’s back and she wants payback. Ma Gnucci. Eighty-five pounds of hairless, armless, legless evil.

I bet it will be a lot better than Punisher War Zone the movie – which opened abysmally, coming in at #8 over the weekend with a mere 4 Million.
Newsarama explains the poor reception to the following…
the weekend after Thanksgiving is traditionally a soft box office weekend, the movie had no bankable stars, and War Zone suffered from nearly unanimous poor reviews from critics, scoring only a 17% (4/10) on Rotten Tomatoes.com which averaged 65 reviews.
But fails to mention that there have been 2 other Punisher movies before and neither of them was all that big a hit either. Even if you follow a bad movie with a good one (Hulk and The Incredible Hulk for example) the first movie will put off viewers. I kind of liked the last Punisher movie (with Tom Jane), but the first one (with Dolph Lungren) was laughable. The previews for Punisher War Zone didn’t really impress me.

The couple commented, “Ever since the launch of our blog – http://jarics.falconstudios.com/ – we have received more requests than we can count for us to change positions. We always intended on switching – and possibly doing some other things – but wanted to space it all out through the term of our contract so fans would always have something to look forward to.” The ‘Aden Tops Jordan’ scene will be available on-line at www.falconstudios.com November 21st and on DVD December 9th.
