Marvel’s Dark Reign Preview!!!
Well the Skrulls may be beaten, but baby Cage is still missing and in the aftermath, it seems like the DCU isn’t the only comic book reality where evil has won. More on that later in my Secret Invasion spotlight (in a few days so y’all have time to read your issues and I don’t spoil anything). Following on the heels of Secret Invasion is another major event crossover – Dark Reign! Or is it just the new status quo of the Marvel U? They figure if DC is going dark, they will get darker. Whether or not it works remains to be seen, but I’m paying attention….

Lets all have a moment of silence for Janet Van Dyne a.k.a. the Wasp… Who will design the Avengers new outfits and drive Wanda back over the edge when she gets back?

I just don’t want Emma to be evil again! I love her in the X-Men and in a relationship with Scott. It’s brought out so many interesting layers to her character. But I know nothing is ever as simple as it seems with her.
I was really sad about the death of Wasp. They could’ve bumped off lame Tony Stark and I’d be so much happier. But does anyone ever stay dead for long in the Marvel universe?

I was also kinda bummed about Janet’s death, but i get why they did it. After something as epic as Secret Invasion was intended to be, they needed at least 1 significant Avengers casualty (that wouldn’t affect too many ongoing titles)… Probably would have been Hank – but writers needed his brains more than Janet’s design sense.
