The DCU’s announced annexing of the Milestone Universe begins this week in Terror Titans #3… with the very first DC appearance of Static! The image below is a leaked image from the last page of Terror Titans #3. I like the costume.
Dreadbolt faces a terrible decision, and his choice could elevate him in the Clock King’s eyes – but at an unthinkable cost. Meanwhile, the tournament between teen metas continues, and the fate of the winners and losers becomes clearer as the Clock King’s ultimate plan comes to light. Ravager’s role in the plan also becomes clearer, and she is beginning to openly rebel. So, to sweeten the deal, she is granted the honor of fighting the Dark Side Club’s hidden and true champion – one she could never have expected!
Static will kick around Terror Titans #3 and 4 before joining the Teen Titans during their upcoming and much needed membership drive.
Election day 2008 was a roller coaster in the Castro. We took the streets to celebrate the election of Barack Obama, but we were brokenhearted when Prop 8 passed. This video is a story from the streets of the Castro about election night, the fallout of Prop 8, and the national movement for LGBT civil rights that’s being ignited through California’s struggle.
Marvel has put up a great X-Infernus Saga online comic that covers Ilyana’s complete history – so if you haven’t read the classic tales of the X-Men in Limbo, now you can!
Darkchilde comes calling to the X-Men’s doorstep—and she’s not leaving without her Soulsword. The next pulse-pounding issue by C.B. Cebulski
I still thoroughly enjoyed this episode despite the inevitable flaws the kvetching complainers of the internet seem determined to share. This season rocks.
Clair and SYlar both dying during the eclipse and healing after was a bit obvious. I truly loved Hiro and Ando’s exchange with Seth Green and Breckin Meyer at the comic book store. I was really rooting for Elle and Sylar to redeem each other, so their sex on the beach moment didn’t really turn out as I had hoped. I had heard that Kristen Bell wasn’t slated for the full season, so I was expecting trouble in paradise, but was still hopeful I was wrong.
After seeing just a name (Remy leBeau) on a screen in the X-Men movies. Gambit’s getting silver screen time… We’ve known for awhile who was playing the raging cajun (former A/F model, long haired Covenant legacy warlock / Friday Night Lights fullback, Taylor Kitsch), but now we’ve finally seen the "look" of Gambit. He’s hot and all that, but I hope his eyes go red and black when he powers up. That would be oh-so-sexy.
Gambit first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #266 in August 1990. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artists Jim Lee and Mike Collins, Gambit is skilled in card throwing, hand-to-hand combat, the use of a b?, and possesses the ability to manipulate kinetic energy. A professional thief and self described ladies man, the character has had a longtime on and off again romantic fling with Rogue.
Hopefully, the new movie will somewhat rock… I’m just putting some (very) small of trust in Marvel’s motion picture department after Iron man and The Incredible Hulk. I can ALMOST forgive them for X3… Almost but not quite.
But I digress, and Taylor Kitsch as Gambit has an appropriately pretty-boy visage and some oh-so yummy abs. So lets just focus on that, and hope the producers set aside a few bucks for post-production eye FX and that there are more movies that follow with a full team.
As always the Gay Comic Geek provides a concise and detailed review on the gay themed comic, Anti Heroes… Our anti-heroes are Caleb, the cyborg powerhouse; Tai, the bulging brawler; and Zeke, the psychic gigolo, not to mention a hunky supporting cast and of course, some forceful imposing evil tyrants and former flames plus twin beefcake henchmen.
