I first spotted one of these images cropped and uncredited at SuperUnderwearPerverts. I should have recognized it as the work of one of my favorite photographers… Exterface! But didn’t until I happened upon more images lacing an interview with French creative duo Julien & Stéphane, a.k.a. Exterface by the blogger at Rain on the Roof who I noticed because google analytics told me he’d linked me – THANKS! I always appreciate being on someone’s blogroll. So if you add me, comment somewhere and say hi!
I dunno how I missed this one. Bad fanboi! Julien & Stéphane have gone and topped themselves with an amazing set of images starring Guilerme Vandresen that look like they belong on Dick Grayson’s manhunt profile (with Bruce Wayne’s billionaire bucks he WOULD hire the best).
aired 112408 – Heroes: Volume Three – The Eclipse (part 1): More great insight into the characters this week. I felt there was something traumatic about Daphne’s past that was somehow fixed with her speed powers. I was betting on a medical problem resulting in morbid obesity that melted off with a superfast metabolism, but I suppose leg braces are cheaper than a quality fat suit and they have spent enough on FX for her as it is.
The “Sam’s Comics” store sequence was a friendly nod to the comic fanboys who probably still make up a large percentage of the show’s fanbase. It was so great to see a pair of real Hollywood fanboys like Seth Green and Breckin Meyer making cameos on one of their favorite shows.
Lil Hiro’s concept of the comic book store as a great repository of knowledge is wonderful, And I look forward to seeing what else he can learn from his 4-color oracle. Reminds me how I got through a college mythology class largely due to issues of Wonder Woman, the Teen Titans and Thor.
I do wonder how many issues did Isaac Menendez send in before Sylar cut his head open? I know they art gets sent ahead, but he died at least 6 months ago Heroestime, wouldn’t they have found a new writer/artist?. Also Isaac’s paintins didn’t have lettering did they? So who is the “writer” who can see the future?

I’m sure a few someones will have a list of gripes about the episode and I’ll report on those later – just enjoy a great chapter in the adventure for now.
