Although Multiverse announcing a new Massive Multiplayer Online Buffy the Vampire Slayer game should be cause for cheers and jubilation, most fans seem to be taking the news with a grain of salt. Not only have they never released their own game, it seems they’ve also cried “Joss Whedon-based MMO!” before when they announced a similar Firefly based project in 2006. This combined with the press release claims that the game would be playable as “either as a fully immersive 3D environment or as a Flash-based 2D game,” which ToplessRobot described as the equivalent of saying “it will be both a PC game and a magical unicorn, which you can ride.”

So the ultimate team of bad asses failed to save the world. Now there is a helluva mess. Its a bit of a downer, eh? Aside from Apollo and Midnighter, I don’t really care enough about this universe to read a post-apocalyptic tale. Pass. But seriously, someone tell me if I’m missing anything.
Oh Oh, seems like not EVERYONE has been drinking the kool-aid. I sense dissension in the ranks as MSNBC’s Chuck Todd, political consultant Mike Murphy and Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan have a frank discussion about the Republican VP pick while forgetting the desk has ears.
