MoveOn’s petition against mandated Fox News racism
FOX must stop injecting racism, prejudice, and fear into our political dialogue. We intend to hold FOX, its advertisers, and its personalities accountable for FOX’s attempts to smear the Obamas.
I am so sick of the sneaky underhanded way FOX News casually mentions some negative aspect or concept in the same breath of someone they want to smear. They have an audience of lemmings (I know they don’t really jump over cliffs, but the idiom is ingrained in the public lexicon by now, bit I digress…). Their audience is full of empty minds who soak up their bullshit like a smelly sponge. They call a presidential candidate’s wife his “baby momma,” cast what they THINK are aspersions on his religion (the M-word ooooh I’m scared) and practically call him a terrorist for not using the suburban hi-5.
It must stop. Sign the petition. Tell your friends. At least be part of the statistic AGAINST this kind of yellow journalism.

Fox News will have to change something once Obama gets in the White House. They know it. This sort of coverage simply shows how frightened conservative upper class white American Fox viewers really are. That’s the majority of their audience. The other viewers like me tune in for the freak show (not unlike Howard Stern).
These conservatives are fearful of several things: blacks will hold a higher, more respectful standing in American society, taxes will increase to cover programs that help out less fortunate American citizens and most of all - that Bush’s conservative machine manufactured an endless war for personal power and for profit.
Fox’s fear-mongering is transparent. Let them all shake a little in their faux cowboy boots.
