Think Supergheroes meet CSI. If you haven’t been reading Powers, you should. And you have no excuse. There are a number of trade paperbacks collection the previous story arcs. You could probably even find some at your local public library. The title seems to be shipping slow, but then again Bendis is a bit preoccupied with Secret Invasion.

Homicide detectives Christian Walker and Deanna Pilgrim investigate murders specific to super hero cases, and they both have a secret: They both have powers. The new Retro Girl goes undercover to stop a serial killer who is spreading a deadly powers virus and killing young girls all over the city. Meanwhile, Deena Pilgrim’s life gets even worse as one of the kingpins of the city targets her for execution. New format, new story, and all-new attitude from the Eisner Award-winning team of Bendis (New Avengers, Secret Invasion, Powers) and Oeming (Omega Flight, Mice Templar).
