I had already figured out what happened to Kitty after last issue. She found out it was a bullet and it was already in flight. I knew the only way to save the Earth would be to have Kitty phase it through the planet and figured that was why she was "lost" not dead. What I didn't understand was exactly what reduced the heroes of Earth to drooling vegetables. Joss's comic book science seemed a bit too vague, theoretical and wasn't explained well. I was disappointed by Astonishing. I had already figured out what happened to Kitty after last issue. She found out it was a bullet and it was already in flight.
