I found these videos from TheJollyReprobate and thought you might like… his description lists a few of his photographic sources… Jake Campione as Superman, Marco Dapper as Captain Marvel, Chris Austad as The Green Arrow, and erstwhile YouTuber Tyler Southwick as Batman
2 more videos with photoshopped Legion of Super Heroes characters after the jump…

90210 again? Really? I guess I’m officially too old to be remotely interested in teen drama (unless you throw in superpowers or a Vampire Slayer). But for those who aren’t…
Apparently the new version won’t be as homogenized as the old one. Well at least there’s been some progress. Let’s see if there is a gay man (they always toss in lesbians to titillate the straight boys so although it is progress and representation, in a post-Willow/Tara world, its just not as ground-breaking to me) or if we are again relegated to single episode backdrop characters. I wouldn’t put much money on it, but its always cool to be represented. Maybe even a cute gay geek instead of the usual fabulous type? Dare we dream?
CBR has solicits for Marvels X-Men titles being released in August. A few that look ESPECIALLY interesting to me are… X-FACTOR SPECIAL: LAYLA MILLER ONE-SHOT, X-MEN ORIGINS: JEAN GREY, X-FACTOR #34, UNCANNY X-MEN #501 (looks like Pixie is part of the team, albeit in distress already) and SECRET INVASION: X-MEN #1 (of 4)
If you were psyched to see Marvin and Wendy from the old Superfriends cartoon, but were disappointed to see them relegated to the background, issue 62 is just for you. “a heartwarming look at Titans Tower through the eyes of its least-known inhabitants: Wendy, Marvin … and Wonderdog?!”

Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi aren’t the only gay celebrities to jump on the marriage bandwagon since last weeks California Supreme Court overturn of the state’s ban on same-sex marriage. On Friday, George Takei announced through his website (georgetakei.com) that he and his partner of 21 years, Brad Altman would be wed in the state of California.
If you are think about wedding presents, I’d strongly suggest avoiding Tribbles.
