“My Lonesome Cowboy,” Takashi Murakami’s anime style sculpture of a masturbating naked blond man and his swirling semen has sold at Sothebys Auction House for 15 Million dollars. Makes you wonder who bought it. The high bid came in over the phone. I can’t blame them. I doubt I could have bring myself to bid publicly.

Another cast of the ejaculating cowboy can be seen as part of the Brooklyn Museum of Art’s recent retrospective of Murakami’s work.
