DC heroes tackle politics

DCU Decisions ( written by Bill Willingham and Judd Winick, with art and covers by Stephane Roux) is a four-part miniseries shipping bi-weekly in September and October. The heroes get political when longtime liberal loudmouth (just ask Hal Jordan) Oliver Queen endorses a presidential candidate and the rest of the DCU gets taken along for the ride. Story elements involve an assassination attempt and deep rooted political conspiracies. The DCU has gotten political before with arch villain Lex Luthor scheming his way into the White House, but this will be the first time we see political affiliations defined for a number of characters.

2nd Hulk trailer rocks!

Lets just collectively forget the Ang Lee debacle… OK This looks more than hot enough to replace that in anyone mind. No more crouching tiger hidden hulk. This time around when he leaps and lands, he has weight and power. Hulk in the first one felt like a big animated inflated balloon.

Secret Invasion 2: LOVING what is going on with this. I don’t know who to trust and neither do they. The face off was great (awesome SPOILER PICS after the jump). Really psyched that the Young Avengers are on the scene in New York and ready for action, I’m looking forward to the YA/Runaways SI crossover. (Look after the jump to see what they are up against…) Mockingbird almost has me believing she’s the real deal – if only I hadn’t read the story where we saw her ghost helping out her old teammates.

More reviews and SPOILER PICs after the jump… read your books first, then tell me what you think! Read the rest of this entry »
