A new video via a random myspace acquaintance. Darren Hayes (originally of Savage Garden fame) is hawking a new tour… I loved Savage garden, I need to hear more of his solo material.

2, count them 2 scenes of Steve Cruz begging for it as hot muscled studs bang his ass without mercy. Plus 3 more equally hot scenes including Brodie Sinclair having his filthy way with Roman Ragazzi! Full review with photos to cum later if I can manage to get through the whole movie… its that hot. (plus, hey it’s comic book day, priorities. I always read new comics before reviewing porn I’ve seen most of.)
STARRING: Steve Cruz, Ricky Sinz, Roman Ragazzi, Brodie Sinclair, Antonio Biaggi, Fred Faurtin, Luke Hass, Matthieu Paris and Victor Steele

When we last left our intrepid adventurers they had just realized that the “missile” wasn’t actually a missile and Kitty Pryde is riding the bullet towards the earth! Too much story for one regular issue, Joss Whedon (Buffy, Firefly) and John Cassaday’s (CAPTAIN AMERICA, Planetary) bring us a super special Giant Size Astonishing X-Men #1! The Powerlords of breakworld seem bent on destroying the Earth, can our marvelous mutants do anything about it? And will the Avengers and the Fantastic Four have any better luck?
We’ve been told that one of the X-Men won’t walk away from this fight,” and most people’s money are on Kitty (due to her precarious position and Peter calling her “lost,” in the recent Uncanny X-Men, but that could be a red herring.

Since the run of The Incredible Herc started, we’ve seen Herc explore his relationships with former teammates (the Champions), new allies (Amadeus Cho) and exploring his divine relations (Ares and Athena). Now we get to enjoy the Marvel Universe from a Godly perspective as Athena, Ajak, Demogorge the God-Eater, Snowbird, and Amatsu-Mikaboshi band together under the leadership of Hercules? (yeah I didn’t know who the more obscure ones were either – so i wiki’d everyone for ya)
I know Athena is a behind-the-scenes kind of gal, but I think she could probably come up with better battle plans than Herc. He’s more Sgt than General.

Clip from the film “Shelter” featuring Trevor Wright, Brad Rowe and Ross Thomas.
Surfer Zach (Wright) in his free time draws and hangs out with his best friend Gabe (Thomas). He also hangs out with his best friend’s hot older brother Shaun (Rowe). You may remember blond prettyboy Brad Rowe as Billy’s crush object from Billy’s Hollywood Screen Kiss (or many other things, he’s been busy)
Forced to give up his dreams of art school, Zach spends his days working a dead-end job and helping his needy sister care for her son. In his free time he surfs, draws and hangs out with his best friend, Gabe, who lives on the wealthy side of town.
When Gabe’s older brother, Shaun, returns home, he is drawn to Zach.
Released by here! Films Shelter comes to theaters March 2008, followed by an exclusive run on Here TV Networks in April 2008.

Captain Britain and MI: 13 #1 by Paul Cornell and Leonad Kirk, on sale May 14. It figures that an invasion by a diabolical shapeshifting race from across the galaxy would be international (we did find the dead Elektraskrull in Japan didn’t we?). So in this title we see what everyone’s least favorite avocado aliens are up to in merry olde England. Captain Britain is backed up by team of fellow brits, including…Spitfire, Pete Wisdom, the Black Knight, John the Skrull from the Wisdom miniseries (a Skrull who’s spent the last four decades on Earth looking like John Lennon) and a doctor named Faisa Hussein who gains super powers in the first issue. I was skeptical at first, but am warming up to the idea enough to give it a few issues.

A shout out to the “hairperv” who e-mailed me about Peepfly’s semi-obnoxious habit of autoplaying. I e-mailed the site about it asking for a bit of code to add and they ACTUALLY changed their embed policy!!! All Peepfly embeded videos need to be played just like any other video from now on! Seeing if I can get them to use first fram instead of white screen tho – would be hotter if you get preview of what you are going to see.

Openly gay comic book artist Phil Jimenez has been a favorite of mine since I first saw his work. I would put him on a short list of genius level comic book master artists including George Perez, Alex Ross and Bryan Hitch. Plus a favorite adult film actor once told me that Phil drew him Superman. That is so hot (in a gay geek way).

We should have some Comics news tomorrow… but until then here’s another preview… This time of Newuniversal:Shockfront #1. MARVEL SAYS: “In a world experiencing superhuman powers for the first time, four heroes have risen — but now it’s time for chaos to erupt as more discover their abilities! As Starbrand, Nightmask, Justice and Cipher continue to deal with their new powers — and the people hunting them down — similarly gifted individuals appear. But will they be a force for good or evil?” We’ll see. I have been toying with picking up the first series in trade format… (read a number of new Universe titles back in the day including Starbrand and DP7) does anyone recommend it?

Power Girl’s long anticipated return to Earth-2 is getting closer… PG has really made a place for herself in the main DCU continuity of late (being JSA Chairperson, and really making a family with that team, an now making friends with Kingdom Come Superman), so how will she react to getting reacquainted with her former BFF, Batman and Catwoman’s daughter, Helena Wayne? Not to mention the rest of her old friends (and foes? their ought to be a little earth-2 action?).

I couldn’t find a DDay linked up with that identifier. Giving up…

Scheduled for release this August is a new Tarot deck featuring characters from all 7 TV seasons and the 8th season (seen in comic book format). Seen below are the “Devil” (Buffy and Spike) “Magician” (Buffy), “Temperance” (Angel), and “Death” (refresh my memory – did Buffy and the Scooby Gang ever come face to face with the grim Reaper? And did they eat the Salmon Mousse?
